What Alinea collects, and what it keeps.
[PLACEHOLDER — this page describes what the site and product do today. It needs legal review, a named data controller and a retention schedule before launch.]
On this website
If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address so we can send your invite. The waitlist is run by Clerk, our account provider. If you email us, we keep that conversation to reply to you.
That is all this site collects about you directly.
Cookies and analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookies and does not identify you.
With your permission, we also use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site. It sets cookies (named _ga) and shares usage data with Google. Nothing from Google loads until you choose Accept.
You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Choosing Decline removes Google's cookies. Your choice is stored only in your browser.
In the Alinea app: it reads and drafts
Alinea reads the mail, calendar and documents you connect, so it can write your brief, track your tasks and projects, and build the documents and slides you ask for.
It can draft replies, but it cannot send, book or delete anything on its own. Anything that would leave your account waits for your approval, and every action it takes is recorded.
You connect your accounts through Google or Microsoft, and you can revoke that access from your own account at any time, without asking us.
We do not train on your data
Your mail, calendar and documents are used to do the work you ask for, and nothing else. They are not used to train AI models, ours or anyone else’s.
Leaving
Revoke access and Alinea stops reading straight away. To delete your account, or to be taken off the waitlist, email us and we will remove your data.
